Job Responsibilities

The software developer should be able to develop software applications using popular programming languages and state-of-the-art platforms. The key roles and responsibilities would include but are not limited to the following:

i. Write codes and be hands-on with actual software development tasks.

ii. Software Development and to deliver software, infrastructure, and architecture that meets the needs of users;

iii. Designing algorithms and flowcharts to create new software programs and systems

iv. Producing efficient and elegant code based on requirements

v. Troubleshooting, debugging, maintaining, and improving existing software 

vi. Compiling and assessing user feedback to improve software performance

vii. Ensure delivery consistent with Agile processes across the team;

viii. Work effectively with the team to ensure delivery against agreed priorities;

ix. Testing and deploying programs and applications

Required Skills

1. Minimum requirement: Bachelor's degree in IT or any other relevant degree with demonstrated experience in software projects, methodology, and development.

2. Be proficient in major programming languages and platforms and should be capable of developing software applications or mobile apps either as a team or on one’s own.

3. Demonstrated knowledge in one or more of the widely used programming languages and any type of framework in Java & Python.

4. Strong understanding of the agile software development cycle.

5. Strong understanding of the design principles of microservices architecture.

6. Ability to lead a team for IT-related projects.

7. Ability to work independently and multi-task effectively.

8. Demonstrated understanding of projects from the perspective of both client and business.

9. Flexible and willing to accept changes in priorities, as necessary.

10. Strong attention to detail

Salary & Others Benefits

Basic Pay

I.

Fresh Recruits starting from Nu. 20,645;

II.

With experience starting from 25,220 (Negotiable based on the work experiences)

Contract Allowance

 

30% of basic pay shall be provided

Communication Allowance

 

Nu. 1,500 for experienced & Nu. 1,000 for the fresh recruits

Annual Bonus

 

One month of basic pay depending on fulfilment of company’s targets in Compact   Plus and, revenue and profit targets.

Employer’s PF Contribution

 

7% of basic pay

 

Selection Process:

Stage 1: All applicants who fulfill the criteria as per the ToR shall be called for the written exam.

Stage 2: Shortlisting for interview – Applicants will be shortlisted based on their performance in the written exam for the final interview. The cut-off marks and the number of candidates to be shortlisted will be decided by the Management level HR Committee based on the number and quality of candidates.

Stage 3: Final selection and ranking for standby

Final selection and ranking will be based on the following weightages: Interview (40%) and Written Test (60%).
